Bramblebush is not your average fruit-bearing shrub. We are an acoustic folk group with a hint of Irish,
a pinch of Scottish, a quarter cup of harmony, and a dab of comedy, blended and served with a beverage of
your choosing (best with beer).
We love to perform and entertain ourselves while occasionally entertaining an audience at Renaissance Festivals
and coffee shops in the Midwest. Our repertoire consists of a variety of traditional, contemporary folk and original
songs that we arranged ourselves or blatently stole from others. We play music loosely rooted in the folk traditions
of North America and the British Isles.
Bramblebush members have a rich background in music, each bringing a unique flavor and dimension to the group performance.
Consisting of 2 men and 2 women who all play and sing we have a flexibility and depth to our sound that is characteristic
of five and six- piece groups.
Founded in 2006 by a group of ex-pirates, Bramblebush has gone through some member changes. We are very excited with Steve
and Hannah joining our group. They are both amazing musicians. Check out all the profiles here.
Join us at the Olde World Renaissance Festival in Twig, MN, for a fabulous time. We're rockin' it Old World style.
We'll be playing at Minnesota Renaissance Festival's stage. Bring something to eat on a stick and listen to some good festival music.
15 days, 5 stages a day. There's plenty of time to see us. Come hear our new sound. Our new CD should be ready. Think positive.
